The First Street Studios has done it again! NOSTALGIA Exhibit is excellent! The art work is diverse and thought provoking. I am not familiar with all the artists, but I am impressed with the energy and skill presented in the works shown. I hope to see more of their work. This space has drawn artists and community alike thanks to the creative efforts of Artist co-owner Lilli Flores. I am heartened that not only the Local ELA community attends , but that also people from greater LA are enjoying this art space. I am impressed by the diversity of the art work and the audience that has attended the events. The NOSTALGIA reception was particularly enhanced by local artists who sell their unique work there. Talking about diversity: these include Lilli’s own jewelry and art designs,Zan-Loves-ELA designer T-Shirts and sticker designs; Jewelry Designs by Sunshine, Araceli Silva, Monica Hernandez’silver creations;along with Elena’s Just Breathe Healing herbal products, Daisy’s organic aromatheraputics, Marisela’s recycled denim fashions, and much more. What a testament to the great creative energy and talent that exsists here. May this much needed space and its contribution to the community live on!
